Public Sector Website Compliance Package

Section 508 and WCAG 2.2 AA readiness advisory for public sector and grant-funded organisations: site review, document sampling, a remediation plan and an accessibility statement draft.

$5,500one-time fee · by applicationApply for the Package

Application first. No payment until the scope is agreed in writing.

The problem

Public agencies, schools and grant-funded organisations are expected to make their websites and documents accessible. Many have no clear picture of where they stand or what to fix first.

This package gives you that picture, plus a plan you can take to your team, your vendor or your board. It is advisory work: we assess readiness and plan fixes; we don't certify.

What’s included

Site review

Up to 25 key pages reviewed against WCAG 2.2 AA, which Section 508 references, using automated and manual testing.

Document sampling

Up to 10 PDFs or Office documents checked for tagging, reading order and alt text.

Third-party review

Forms, embedded maps, payment portals and other vendor tools noted where they cause issues.

Remediation plan

Issues prioritised into a phased plan with suggested owners.

Accessibility statement draft

A draft statement and feedback process you can adapt and publish.

Briefing session

A 60-minute session with your team to walk through the findings.

Who it’s for

  • Local government departments, schools and libraries
  • Non-profits and organisations receiving public funding
  • Vendors who need to show readiness to public sector clients

Not the right fit: Organisations that need a formal certification or a legal opinion. We don't provide either.

What you get

  • Review of up to 25 pages
  • Sampling of up to 10 documents
  • Third-party tools notes
  • Phased remediation plan
  • Accessibility statement draft
  • 60-minute briefing session
Readiness advisory, not certification. This is readiness-advisory work. It does not certify your website, issue any credential, licence, badge or seal, and it is not legal advice. It shows you where you stand against the published guidelines and what to fix.

Questions

Will this certify our site as Section 508 compliant?

No. This is readiness-advisory work. We assess your site against WCAG 2.2 AA and plan fixes. We do not certify, issue credentials or provide compliance badges or seals.

Can you work with purchase orders?

Yes. Mention it in your application and we'll issue an invoice instead of a card checkout.

Do you fix the issues?

Fixes are separate. Many teams use the plan with their existing vendor; we can also quote remediation.

What does it cost?

$5,500 for the scope above. Larger sites are quoted after review.
